According to ABC, most national newspapers in the UK lost web traffic month on month in October 2015.
One of the few national newspapers to grow readership was The Sun, which managed to grow online readership month on month.
The strongest year on year growth was recorded by The Express, which was up 53%.
The Guardian also preformed well year on year, with a reported growth of 31%.
October was also a strong month for Trinity Mirror's regional newspaper websites, which were among the fastest growing titles in the ABC report.
The Manchester Evening News and the Liverpool Echo are now ahead of the Evening Standard for daily web traffic, according to the latest ABC figures.
The most popular news website in the UK is still the Mail Online, which sees an average of 13.2M global unique browsers visiting the website every day.
The top five performing newspaper websites, in order, are: the Mail Online, theguardian.com, the Telegraph, Mirror Group Nationals, and The Independent.
